_UKRAINIAN REFUGEE INTEGRATION SUPPORT WORKER_
LEITRIM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY wishes to recruit a Ukrainian Refugee
Integration Support Worker under the Social Inclusion and Community
Activation Programme(SICAP) This position will involve identifying and
addressing the support needs of Ukrainian refugees in Leitrim and
working with local communities and agencies to support community
integration. This will be a fixed term temporary contract for **Apply

JOB SUMMARY:
* To identify and address the support needs of the Ukrainian
community in Leitrim
* To engage and work with the local community to support community
integration through community development initiatives
* To coordinate a range of activities focused on youth and children
and family supports
* To link Ukrainian refugees to resources available through LDC
including SICAP, RDP, Social Farming and Employment Programmes where
relevant
* To work closely with agencies involved in Leitrim Local Community
Response Forum to respond to the integration needs identified at
county level by key stakeholders
RESPONSIBLE TO: Social Inclusion Manager
LOCATION: Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* A relevant 3rd level qualification in Community development or a
related discipline
* A minimum of 2 years? experience in the area of Community
Development in a similar role
* Experience of working with socially excluded groups, including
migrants, asylum seekers or refugees would be advantageous
* Excellent IT skills and experience of Microsoft applications
* Good level of data processing and data entry experience
* Be flexible and willing to carry out a wide range of tasks.
* A full clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
